“Wow! Aiden with Paddywagon Tours was fabulous. He was so knowledgeable and really kept us engaged the entire trip. The Blarney Castle was outstanding and we had no line to kiss the stone. Rock of Cashel was stunning and we had a beautiful day for pictures. I’ve never experienced food markets like The English Market in Cork and it was amazing! I only wish we were staying longer so we could have purchased some fresh fruit and cheese from the market.”

“Beware of the Bed and Breakfast you get put in! If you book through Viator instead of the company running this tour, you get put in a Bed and Breakfast in Killarney and ours was awful! The bed had broken springs sticking up and was lumpy, the pillows were awful, the toilet didn't flush, the walls were so thin that we heard the loud snoring of the man in the next room all night, and the room was tiny with no room to even put your luggage! We stayed one night because it was late when we arrived, then paid to stay in a hotel the second night. Those who…”

“Our driver, Michael, was courteous and VERY skilled at driving a big, comfortable, well equipped bus. Our guide, Richie, was very knowledgeable, patient, and friendly. It would have been helpful to know that the garden/grounds around Blarney Castle was very large. Our group of seniors would have done less exploring, and more bench sitting. The train ride was fun.Funbt”

“Amazing tour! My key highlights for this tour was visiting Blarney Castle and the Cliffs of Moher were beautiful! The over night hostel was okay, the only creepy thing was it was right next to a cemetery, other than that it was a nice hostel. When in Cork make sure you get a burger at Son of a Bun.”

From Cobh, you’ll visit Blarney Castle, Blarney Woollen Mills, and Jameson Distillery in Midleton before returning to your ship. Guides such as DJ, Joe, Tim, Tony, and Sean have led well-received departures, but confirm the vehicle and group size before booking.

“Poor - rating should be 0. A large bus arrived for a large group 31+ people with no explanation of what happened to the small group tour in a small van. No wifi, no water, no tour of the town or cathedral. We arrived and parked quite a distance from the Blarney Castle and had to walk about 15 minutes to stand in 1.5 hour line to get to the top. We were given no information on the Woolen Mills and by the time we walked back from the castle we needed to be on the bus. The distillery tour was great but overall a disappointing tour.”
