“Gabriel was the best part. He gave our family of 13 lots of information that appealed to all ages. He was caring when one of our family was seasick and stopped to get medication. We lived visiting his goat farm nd holding baby goats. Remember to bring sunscreen. Walking to cliffs on a sunny day will get you burned.”

6.History & cultural tour of Inishmore, Aran Islands. Galway. Private. 2 ½ hours

★★★★★★★★★★3.5 · 13 reviews · 2 hours 30 minutes (approx.)

Spend 2½ hours touring Inishmore with a local guide, visiting Dún Aonghasa, the seal viewpoint, Kilmurvey, and an Aran goat cheese farm. Gabriel Faherty may host the cheese visit, while local drivers such as Martin or Patrick provide island stories. Ferry or plane tickets are separate.

“We enjoyed the short hike up to the fort and the beautiful views. We appreciated that Gabriel shared his goats and some goat cheese but would have liked to see how it is made and understand the process better. Gabriel gave us some good insight into island life but not a lot of history of the island. 1 1/2 hours of the trip were spent on our own exploring the fort and the small shopping area and having lunch leaving about an hour of actual time on the tour, which made it a very over priced hour.”
